Help
A little help with your recipes.
What can I add?
Here on the website, paste a link to a recipe page or video that opens without signing in. Public YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest posts may work too, but some sites and posts block access. On iPhone, you can also paste recipe text, add a photo, screenshot or PDF, or write a recipe yourself.
Why should I check the details?
Recipes can leave things out. RecipeSnag points out unclear details so you can check them against the original recipe before cooking. It doesn't make up missing amounts.
Where is my recipe saved?
A web preview doesn't save anything to your cookbook. Public links may create a shareable recipe page. You review and save recipes in the iPhone app.
Can I get my private preview back?
Return to the same browser tab while your preview is available. It expires no later than two hours after you start. Support can't recover it after you lose access. Opening the iPhone app won't transfer a private web preview.
How do I get the app?
The iPhone app is currently in private testing.
